“When I began coaching, I was seeking flexibility from my corporate career. I aimed to embark on a project outside of my existing career that I could build into a side business or future full time endeavor.
Lauren helped me take my ambiguous ideas of what this might look like and turn them into tangible actions. Having Lauren as a coach, asking insightful and thorough questions, encouraged me to think through the information I’ll use to make my decisions and identify solid next steps. Her help has provided some much needed clarity to this complicated process.
In working with Lauren, I actually came up with the idea I wanted to pursue, launched it and I’ve been gaining momentum ever since.
Lauren was able to jump right in at every stage, supporting with both the logistical and philosophical obstacles I faced. I am genuinely thankful to have had her as a thought partner through an otherwise challenging process - she’s made it multitudes more manageable and I am so thankful for her support.”

“I first approached Lauren for her coaching services in the midst of several transitional life chapters: becoming a new mom, changing careers, and moving out of the city we love for more space. I was battling imposter syndrome and a big change in my identity.
Lauren is incredible at actively listening and asked targeted questions forcing me to reframe my mindset and helped me identify solutions to test out between sessions. I have learned so much about myself thanks to Lauren's guidance!”

“I worked with Lauren for almost 4 years when she was Care/of’s Head of People, and she was an incredibly valuable and empathetic thought partner to me and our entire executive leadership team. It was a no-brainer to decide to work with her a coach as I approached returning to work as a new mom.
She helped me frame up my ramp back to work in phases and lay out specific boundariesIwanted to put into placeto protect time with my son.
I felt much less overwhelmed approaching my return with her help structuring a plan for myself.”

"When I started, I was just about to graduate from business school. I had been in the part-time program for 3 years, and in that time I had bought an apartment, gotten married, and changed jobs, so I felt a lot of emotions about wrapping up this time of growth in my life.
I felt I needed to get promoted in order to have made the huge investment in business school "worth it." I felt anxious about the promotion because I felt like something was blocking me from it and I wanted help navigating that.
It's so valuable to feel that I have a "neutral third party" to honestly talk to about tricky situations at work or situations of work/life balance. I feel that I can bring up situations that I would otherwise feel uncomfortable talking to HR, boss, or a co-worker about. It's been helpful to name situations, see patterns, and get a reminder of the bigger picture."

“I started coaching when I was in the midst of many life changes. Primarily, I'm starting a family and wanted to reevaluate what type of job, leadership opportunities, flexibility, and salary would best support my growing family and offer me the work-life integration that I imagined would allow me to enjoy both my work and home life.
Lauren has a wonderful ability to ask the right questions that lead to ultimate self-discovery. When I started coaching, I was convinced that a remote consulting job would offer me more flexibility, but I came to realize that my personal definition of flexibility is best achieved with an in-person job where I can separate my work and home life. It turns out that I can have a C level position and still be home by 5pm every night by prioritizing the right things each day. I don't even check my email when I get home anymore!
Earlier in my career, growth was measured by promotions. I'm fortunate to now be in a leadership position at my company, but I often struggle because I don't have a clear growth opportunity. Before coaching, these feelings often led to thinking about changing jobs even though there are many things that I like about my current role. Lauren has helped me discover that I can still find growth without changing jobs. I can do my job better, try new things, build better relationships with colleagues and external constituents--and importantly, I can find fulfillment beyond my job with hobbies and other activities.“
